2022 Spring Saltere

Our beautiful girls had a ton of fun at the school's Spring Saltere.

Lily enjoyed getting ready at Lauren's house and then meeting up with a bunch of her girl friends on the Square for some pictures beforehand.

She got to meet Liam once they both were at the dance.

Mia got ready at our house, and then met up with her friends at the dance.

It was a great evening for all. We are so thankful for our Stonehaven community and all the great friends here.

High School Musical Jr.

Mia had a blast performing with Brylliant Acting Studio in their production of High School Musical Jr.  They've been working on this since October and even competed at Junior Theater Festival in January with this show.  It was so fun to watch!

Mia had the role of Kelsi in the performance cast.  These costumes were fabulous because they were just comfortable regular clothes!

Kelsi is the person who actually writes the musical for the show, so in the performance, a lot of Mia's time is spent "playing" the piano. When she's an extra in the non-performance cast, she gets to do a lot more of the choreography and stunts which she really liked.

All the kids did a great job with two of the more iconic scenes from the movie:

Mia enjoyed playing Kelsi across from Sharpay who was played by her friend, Emma Scott.

I'm not the only one who loves watching this girl perform! We're all so proud of Mia. Big thank you to Bama for coming back over again to watch!

Stonehaven cast, friends, and teachers!

What a fun performance weekend!

The Hills are Alive!

The girls have been working so hard all year for the school's Sound of Music performance.  Lily had the role of Liesel while Mia had the role of Louisa.  We were all so excited to see this performance, and the girls did an absolutely fantastic job!

While both girls had different costumes to change into throughout the musical, this is backstage before the show in their Von Trapp uniform.

This was such a fun and wonderful performance!

The cast was wonderful!

Thanks to lots of family for coming to the show; not pictured but Bama also came over and Grandpops and Grandma Jan flew up.  Lots of school friends came to support the cast too.  What a great community we're a part of!

This was such a fun weekend!
