Happiest of Birthday Wishes to my most favorite 17 year old!
I love this girl to pieces! Her birthday fell in the middle of the week this year, so her actual birthday was pretty low key. We had her friend, Bella, over for a steak dinner with apple pie for dessert which was fun.
The weekend after her birthday, Mia met up with her friends Tamia and Katie. They had a lot of fun hanging out on the Square, eating lunch at Taqueria Tsunami, and antiquing at the nearby shops. They also had a beautiful photo shoot. Here are a couple of my favorite pictures Tamia got of Mia!

Mia is one of my favorite people to hang out with. She is incredibly bright and quite funny. She is insightful, asks great questions, and is open to learning. She is fun to talk with and is interesting. I love how much she loves musicals and our dogs. She's a hard worker and gives her best efforts to her work. She's a fiercely loyal friend and incredibly generous. I am so very thankful to be her mom; what a privilege. Mia amazes me every day, and I cannot wait to see how God continues to grow her in the upcoming year.
